Our saucepans feature a forged thermal sandwich base, with an aluminum plate pressed onto the bottom of the pan with 1400 tons of pressure to eliminate bubbles-guaranteeing and even distribution of heat, making for faster cooking times on all cooking surfaces. Our pressure cookers feature a pressure regulator valve that allows steam pressure to escape when the preset pressure stage (temperature) is reached. The patented single-handed pressure lock device blocks the pressure cooker lid opening mechanism as soon as there is any build up of pressure, and after cooking the cooking lid cannot be removed until steam pressure has escaped completely. If the pressure rises too high, the safety valve automatically allows steam to escape. Level markings are featured are featured so unintentional overfilling is avoided, while a safety window is worked into the lid. If excessive pressure builds up in the cooker, the sealing ring forces its way out through this window and steam can escape.
